Auto Bazar is one platform covering five categories β cars, spare parts, real estate, car rental, and daily rentals β across every Syrian governorate. This guide covers how to use it effectively, whether you're looking for something or listing it. Ten minutes of proper setup saves hours of aimless scrolling later.
Each category has its own fields, and that's where the platform's search strength comes from. Entering through the right category gives you filters designed for it:
Every category has per-governorate pages, and they're the fastest way to see what's available near you. But note: a rare part or a specific model may be available in another governorate at a better price. Start with your city for common items, and widen to every governorate when you're after something specific that's worth traveling for.
Sorting isn't a cosmetic detail:
Once your filters are tuned to exactly what you want, save the search. When a new listing matching your criteria is posted, you get a notification. The practical difference is large: a well-priced item gets calls from whoever sees it first, and new listings arrive throughout the day from different governorates. A saved search turns you from someone who browses when they remember into someone who's told the moment what they want appears. Saved searches are managed under Dashboard β Saved searches.
Once you're comparing several options, add them to favorites instead of juggling links. Favorites make comparing four or five listings far easier, and they stay in your account across the website and the app. You'll find them under Dashboard β Favorites.
The seller's name on a listing is clickable and takes you to their page, where you can see their other listings and their reviews. A seller with several well-kept listings and reviews from completed bookings is useful context before you open a conversation β particularly in car rental and daily rentals.
Every listing offers contact by WhatsApp or a direct call, plus in-app chat. A practical tip: make your first message specific. "Is the car still available, and could you send a photo of the VIN?" gets a useful reply; "final price?" as an opener usually gets ignored. And never transfer money before viewing β the scam-avoidance guide covers the patterns to watch for.
Posting a listing is free. You pick the category, fill in the fields, upload photos, and set the city. The key point: fill in every field. They aren't a formality β they're what makes your listing appear when a buyer filters by year, area, or their car's make. A listing with missing fields disappears from filtered searches it was a perfect match for. How to write a good one is covered in the writing a listing that sells guide.
Under Dashboard β My listings you can edit a listing, deactivate it temporarily, or mark it sold. Always keep the status current: a listing whose item has sold but stays live brings pointless calls and damages your standing with buyers. For owners who rent, there's Availability for managing dates and Bookings for tracking requests.
Posting is free, and promotion is optional and runs on credits: refreshing a listing to lift it back up the results, pinning it to the top for a week, or upgrading it to a premium listing for a month. The practical rule: never promote a weak listing. If the photos are thin or the price is above the market, promotion only increases the number of people who see the problem. Fix the price, photos, and description first, then promote. Credits are managed under Dashboard β Credits.
Car rental and daily rental listings support booking with set dates, an availability calendar, and an automatically calculated price, instead of a verbal arrangement. That prevents double-booking and puts the dates and the amount on the record for both sides β the booking system guide walks through it in full.
The Auto Bazar app is available on iOS and Android, and it makes three things considerably easier: saved-search alerts, chatting with sellers, and posting a listing with its photos straight from your phone. For anyone selling or tracking a market daily, the difference in response speed is noticeable β and the faster reply is what settles a great many deals.
| If you're | Start with | Then read |
|---|---|---|
| Looking for a car | Make, model and year filters | the buying guide |
| Selling your car | Posting with complete daylight photos | selling fast |
| Looking for property | Your governorate's page | ownership documents |
| After a spare part | Searching by part number | buying online |
| Renting a car | Your governorate's rental page | renting without a card |
| Booking a stay | The availability shown on the listing | the booking system |
Three steps make most of the difference: open the right category and filter precisely, save your search so alerts come to you, and if you're selling, fill in every field and keep the status current. Start from the home page, or post your first listing free.
Looking for a car, start with the make, model and year filters; for property, your governorate's page; for a spare part, search by part number; renting a car, your governorate's rental page; booking a stay, the availability shown on the listing.
Because the fields aren't a formality β they are what makes your listing appear when a buyer filters on specific criteria. An incomplete listing never reaches the person looking for exactly that, and is passed over by anyone comparing dozens of others.
Car rental and daily rental. Listing pages in those show availability and let you send a booking request for the owner to approve. In the other categories you contact the seller directly.
