Anyone shopping for a car in Syria today opens three or four sites and a couple of Facebook groups and compares by hand. This is that round-up done once: six platforms people actually use, with what each one showed about itself on 11 October 2026, and no flattery β including the points where others beat us. The aim is to tell you where to look for what, not to sell you one site.
We opened each platform's home page and cars section in an ordinary browser and recorded what it says about itself: the listing count printed on the page, the categories, how posting works and what it costs, whether there is an app, and how a buyer reaches the seller. The numbers are theirs, not ours, and they change daily β treat them as an order of magnitude, not a census.
| Platform | Focus | Car listings shown | Posting | App | Stands out for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Syriacars | Cars only | about 10,400 | mostly sponsored dealer stock | iOS since 2023 | the largest inventory; make Γ city Γ model pages |
| Klshisy | Cars only | about 8,500 | free; a large share imported from Facebook | web and Android | governorate and model pages with FAQs |
| Bazar Alsham | Cars only | about 10,300 | login required to see details | Android | make and region filters |
| Doushesh | General classifieds | about 1,100 (mostly property) | free | iOS and Android | property and rental cars in one place |
| OpenSooq | Regional classifieds | a few dozen in Syria | free | iOS and Android | an old regional brand; the Syrian section is small |
| Auto Bazar | Cars, parts, property, rental, chalets | about 250 | free, no commission, direct contact | iOS and Android | a live price index, a buying guide per model, search alerts |
Syriacars is the largest by count, and most of it is dealer stock. If you want one model in one city, its nested pages get you there fast. What it lacks: fewer private sellers, and selling there is tied to paid promotion for dealers.
Klshisy is close in size and adds an explainer page per governorate. Part of its inventory is copied from Facebook groups, so expect duplicates and some expired ads. Its blog is short but covers the basics.
Bazar Alsham is also large, but asks you to log in before showing a listing's details, which slows a quick comparison.
Doushesh is a general classifieds site that is mostly property; its car section is smaller but includes rental cars, which the sale-only sites do not offer.
OpenSooq is a well-known regional platform, but its Syrian section shows only a few dozen listings, priced in lira in a way that is hard to read.
Auto Bazar β us β is smaller in car count, and we don't hide that. What we offer instead of size: five categories under one account (a car, its parts, a flat, a rental car), free posting with no commission, direct WhatsApp contact with the seller, a price table computed from live listings rather than anyone's opinion, and a buying guide for every common model. Whoever posts with us gets a page under their own name that shows up in Google, not an ad lost among thousands.
No platform inspects the car or guarantees the papers. Whichever site you use, read the inspection checklist and the scam-avoidance guide before paying a deposit, and compare the price against five similar listings, not one.
Size lives at Syriacars and Klshisy; breadth, live prices and free, commission-free posting live here. Use both: start with the fair price from the index, search wherever the model is, and deal directly with the seller wherever you find them.
By the listing count shown on the page on 11 October 2026: Syriacars and Bazar Alsham (about 10,000 each), then Klshisy (about 8,500). The figures are the platforms' own and change daily; some include duplicates or ads copied from Facebook.
No single app is enough. For the widest choice start with the large platforms; for the fair price use the live price index on Auto Bazar; then contact the seller directly wherever you find the car. Auto Bazar is on iOS and Android and covers cars, parts, property and rentals in one app.
For private sellers, mostly yes. The difference is for dealers: on Syriacars most visibility is paid, while a dealer on Auto Bazar gets a free page with its name and car count and a tool to add its whole list at once, with no commission on sales.
